The Washington Capitals have released their 2023-24 regular season schedule. The Caps will open the season at home against the Boston Bruins on October 12th. The full schedule can be found on the Capitals' website.
The Capitals will play 82 games in the 2023-24 season, including 41 home games and 41 road games. They will face each of their Metropolitan Division rivals eight times, and they will also play three games against each team in the Atlantic Division and two games against each team in the Central and Western Divisions.
The Capitals are coming off a disappointing season in which they finished 37-31-11 and missed the playoffs. However, they have a number of talented players, including Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, and John Carlson. The Caps are hoping to make a run at the Stanley Cup in 2023-24.
