Suns Beat Timberwolves 125-106 in Game 1 of Playoff Series
Phoenix takes early lead in Western Conference matchup

The Phoenix Suns took an early lead in their Western Conference playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, beating them 125-106 in Game 1 on Saturday night.
The Suns were led by Devin Booker, who scored 35 points and added 11 rebounds. Deandre Ayton also had a strong performance, finishing with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Anthony Edwards also had a solid game, finishing with 23 points.
The Suns led by just five points at halftime, but they pulled away in the third quarter. They outscored the Timberwolves 30-19 in the period, and they took a 15-point lead into the fourth quarter.
The Timberwolves never got closer than 10 points in the fourth quarter, and the Suns cruised to the 19-point victory.
The Suns will now have a 1-0 lead in the series as they head to Minnesota for Game 2 on Monday night.
